The challenge of vintage sizing
Vintage sizes aren't always the same as modern sizes. To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring yourself and comparing your measurements to the garment's measurements in the product listing. A common frustration is that customers need to measure in Inches against a garment that fits them properly then compare to the sizes in the listing.

How to measure yourself
For clothing, pay attention to these measurements: Bust/Chest, Waist, Hips, and Total Length. Use a flexible measuring tape and measure yourself over the undergarments you'll be wearing with the garment. Record your measurements in inches for accurate comparison to our size charts.
Bust/Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your bust/chest.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part of your torso).
Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Total Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (or the neckline, depending on the garment) down to the hem.

Measurements Matter
You'll want to ensure your vintage clothing will fit your body's measurments. We recommend you take a dress or garment that currently fits you and measure it laying flat. Then compare those measurements to the item to confirm it's the same.
